Roamly for Business

Methodology

How we measure your AI visibility

We simulate real traveler questions — some naming your business directly, some general ("best tourism options in your city") — and run them through an AI model with live web search enabled, the same way a traveler using an AI assistant might ask. We record what comes back, then score it against a fixed rubric:

  • Presence (40% of your score) — do you show up in general searches, or only when someone already knows your name? A business that's invisible in generic searches can't be helped by strong scores elsewhere, so this counts double.
  • Accuracy (20%) — is what's said about you actually correct?
  • Completeness (20%) — how rich and specific is the information, when it does appear?
  • Competitive Context (20%) — how you compare to nearby businesses that did get mentioned.

Every specific factual claim in your report is checked against a live web search and labeled accordingly, so you can see what's independently verified versus what came from general model knowledge.

What this can't do:

we can't control or guarantee what any specific AI assistant tells a specific traveler at a specific moment — this is a snapshot based on simulated queries, not a promise. Think of it like an SEO audit: a strong signal and a clear to-do list, not a guarantee of ranking.

Reports refresh periodically so you can track whether changes you've made are moving the needle. Scoring criteria itself is occasionally refined for accuracy — when that happens, we'll flag it on your report so a score change is never a mystery.
